OK so i am cosplaying as Xion from Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days!

I’ve been searching for costumes and such for weeks. For the Organization XIII Cloak, i’ve narrowed it down to 2 choices. I need this costume by Halloween, so getting the money for either one won’t be too easy. The first choice is 90$ and free shipping, however the robe isnt too detailed…(and i know it says Larxene but i can use it for Xion)

On a bridal forum that I use, a woman has asked a question about a Fall Wedding Palette. Just wondering if any of you have any ideas for her.

Her question was this: Does anyone know of any amazing color palettes for Fall/Autumn that is great to help create a ‘posh autumn ambiance’ that incorporates some of the seasons natural hues (such as buttery gold, burnt orange and yellow-green) as well as complementing colors that will stand out against the seasonal backdrop of colors? I don’t want anything overly "traditional" as I want a Gothic element to my overall day. Please Help!! Do you know if there are any great seasonal color trends that are great for the ‘posh dark-romantic’ atmosphere that I want?

What do you all think? Is this atmosphere possible to create? Any ideas?

When I was ten, I decorated my room to look "shabby-chic." Shabby-chic is basically light, airy, pastel, cottage-type stuff. I’m fifteen now, and I’m done with that. My parents said that I can re-do my room, and I want a more mature room, but I’m not quite sure how to go about it. My style is kind of bohemian, kind of gothic, and kind of vintage. Good Morning! (at least where I live)

I know this is the wrong forum, but it didn’t get many hits the first time I asked it in the Home & Garden section.

So, that aside, can you pretty please answer this question ! I ALWAYS pick a best answer!

"I am thinking about getting a nice canopy for my bed, but I am having trouble deciding which one would look the best with my room..

I have an elegant black curtain, which is see-through and has some beading… It is on a black curtain rod which has intricate swirls on both ends.

My bed-spread is a duvet, usually with a black cover on it.

And, I might be painting my room a dark rich red, with black detailing.

So, my question is… should I get a nice rich burgundy-red canopy?
OR a black one? ~~~ Explain why?

My question is addressed to anyone and everyone who likes gothic music, whether they consider themselves goths or not.

Name a gothic band and/or singer you like, they/he/she can be your favorite, but not necessarily, preferably name one who is/are less known. For example, someone like Marilyn Manson is very well known (we may argue about his style being gothic or not, personally I think goth includes many styles, from romantic to electro and so on, and I consider him goth).

Describe what you like about them in details (let’s say at least a 2-4 lines paragraph). Also tell me which of their song is your favorite, with a link if possible so we can listen to the song. Mine is Lacrimosa. I think Tilo Wolff is very talented, has a deep and amazing voice, and is very good looking and fashionable. Anne Nurmi also has a beautiful voice (in a different way), is also very talented, and without her Lacrimosa wouldn’t be what it is, she completes Tilo perfectly. In my opinion their music could be described as generally "romantic" gothic, eventho it also includes heavy metal, gothic metal, etc. Here is a link to their song Alleine zu zweit (one of my favorites), with a video of the Wave Gothik Treffen (2007 I think): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CkoLTuX8OBY&feature=channel_page.
