Its for a vampire book im writing.
Okay, so there’s this midieval town terrorized by vampires, and every hundred years, someone has to be sacrificed to them. If there isn’t a sacrifice, the vampires will completely destroy the town. Got it? Alrighty then… next part…
So there’s this young woman in her twenties–she has a little girl, but NO HUSBAND. He left them all alone earlier on. And she’s selected to be this century’s vampire sacrifice. Of course she’s terrified and everything, but she’s smart, so she decides that giving herself up for her town is her duty and she HAS to follow through. However, she goes to her father, (Van Helsing ahahahaa; just kidding) for advice. He says that, “if you gain the vampires’ trust, you’ll have a good chance at catching them off guard. Then you kill them.” BA-BAM. Now Girly has a plan and she’s not as scared. (She’s got silver stakes now!! OH YEAH!)
Then, finally, the vampires come down from nowhere, demanding their sacrifice. Oh no! Poor Girly is forced into the talons of Achizere, the vampire lord. Double oh no! But she has a mission and an objective, so she acts calm and cool.
After the flight back to the castle–you know… where the vampires live–Girly is greeted with a surprise. The vampires don’t want to kill her; they want to make her part of the family. Achizere thinks she’s waaaay to pretty to eat, and he needs a bride anyway. And HE’S got a daughter named Vasoura (or something along those lines) who’s thrilled to have a “new mommy.”
Girly (who strangely doesn’t have a name yet) is given a room next door to Achizere’s, and is thankful to find some clothes in there… even though they DO look a bit vampire-ish. But OH WELL. Clothes are clothes. Right? Right.
WELL, Achizere is used to being dark and terrible and horrible and freaky and completely demonic, therefore, he isn’t exactly the most pleasurable husband to have. But Girly sees that he truly loves her, and Vasoura simply adores “Mommy #1,000,000″. Soooooo killing these vampires doesn’t seem as easy as it did before…
And I have this great scene playing in my mind… Achizere is sleeping peacefully, and Girly has a silver stake raised above her head, ready to plunge it into her husband’s body. (Poor guy.)
My actual question is: What do YOU think of the idea? Do you have anything you might want me to add to it? Please critique, and give constructive criticism, but DON’T BE MEAN. Thanks!!
Okay. I have encountered some very important observations! YAY!! ^_^
1. Girly's daughter is pretty much just–yeah–a motivation for her to live. And a reason she really wants to get away from the "Adam's Family."
2. Achizere's previous "visitors" weren't like Girly. (And they weren't all female/meant to be his wife.) She's calm, beautiful, and nurturing. He likes her. He can just sense it when he meets her.
3. About Achizere's daughter… in this story, vampires don't live forever. They just age VEEEEEERY slowly.
I'm in highschool and have always been told Gothic and Emo people dress and act the way they act because they want to be 'different from everyone'. How are you different from everyone if you act depressed and read bad poetry just like they do?To me it's nothing but another fashion trend. I mean really?! Whats so cool about wearing black and whining about your life all the time? I like the color black, I wear black eyeliner, and I Like My Chemical Romance as much as the next girl but why emulate someone whiny like Gerard Way? Why wear HIM t- shirts and hoodies? And how come most of these people are always running around saying their gay or bi-sexual? Please! Someone explain!!!!
i want to get an emo or goth haircut. i was thinking about noel fielding hair style, any one think thats a good idea, or have any other good ideas?
(for a girl)
Out of curiosity, we bought a liter bottle of Kubler, a Swiss absinthe. I'm not interested in the sugar/water ritual. I'm trying to drink it neat and although I enjoy black licorice, my husband is laughing at the faces I'm making. It's got a really stong flavor. Are there other ways to enjoy it?
I'm attracted to a goth girl from work. I feel we're almost completely opposite personalities, but we're going out soon. Though I don't understand why, she seems completely into me. Is this purely a lustful attraction completely lacking in substance? And if that's so, is there anything wrong with pursuing a purely physical relationship with her?
I had a debate with my cousin and I said the band Dream Theater is goth. Can someone help prove me right? We both agree that it’s Progressive rock, but I need some good proof that i can show him I was right.
if you like both say why you like both-
i personally feel neither one of those genre's of music touches my soul- as far as the lyrics are concerned.
nice beats and instrumentals- but that's it.
what do you think?
