A friend of mine went to Cape Cod in Massachusetts and said that he tried real absinthe there, bought in a liquor store. He says that it’s just been legalized, can anyone tell me more about this?
To Andy’s response- I know that thujone levels are now regulated in Europe, does anyone know if the thujone levels in Absinthe in the U.S. will be lower than the levels in Europe?

I am Caucasian, and white skin was never designed for harsh sunlight. I’ve always been conscious of this. I wear sunscreen when I go outdoors and I generally cover up. I study a lot, and I don’t go outside much because I’m not an ‘outdoorsy’ person. I’m quite pale. I also have very dark brown straight long hair with a fringe, and dark brown eyes, and glasses. I tend to wear black/purple/red coloured tops with fitted jeans. From what I’ver said, does it sound like I could pull off a more elegant look? Kinda like Dita Von Teese style? She has dark hair and pale skin and so do a lot of other famous people like Rose McGowan, Christina Ricci, Meg White etc. I would like to dress in a more interesting style, rather than jeans and plain coloured tops and I’d like some advice as to weather I could pull off a glam goth look? Not really goth … but glamour/elegant with hints of goth … if that makes sense. Does my skin colourings sound appropriate to this look? Thanks!

I am going on a loooong trip tomorrow and I want to do some coloring on the drive. I want some coloring sheets I can print out off of the computer to take with me so I have something to do. I want something different tho…either vampire/Gothic printables…or AMAZINGLY detailed disney ones.

I like all of the Disney Princesses…Hunchback of Notre Dame…Prince of Egypt…Aladdin…the old school movies. None of that Hannah Montana crap or anything new. I hate it.
Thank you soo much. You’re making this 8 hour drive ALOT less boring! =D

I need some advice for anyone out there that’s dated outside of there "circut". I’ve been with Gabriel for about 10 months now and he’s very hardcore goth, supporting the makeup, outfit, music, attitude everything. While I wear the sterotypical "Prep" wear, slacks, khakis, sweater vests, pink fliry dresses, girly skirts the works. Your probably thinking "How did this pair happen?" It’s very simple, I don’t care about what label you are, the same with him, we love each other very much and that’s all that matters, plus I like almost everything, I’m eclectic, I love him for him not his ‘style’ and vice versa, we also have a lot in common. So any advice to keep his and my disapproving friends from spliting us up? He’s the greatest thing that’s happened in my life I don’t wanna lose him because our very different ‘parties’ disagree.

Northern Europe’s renaissance was very different from the renaissance of Southern Italy. The North kept gothic or middle ages art and architecture longer than Italy did. Architecture, stayed very much Gothic until late into the 16th century. But the art was changing in the north and in many areas it was the same as the Italian ways. The Northern have more urban cities and are based on trade. Their architecture was mainly influenced by classic Greek and Roman work. The northern renaissance was more literary and artistic while the Italian renaissance was more focused on political terms and power issues. The northern concentrated more on religion and perfecting religious values where the Italians were more humanistic by, freeing man from the old traditional attitudes and scriptures which then allowed man to be viewed as an individual and free to work w/ art, literature, sculptures, paintings.
