did emos and goths ruin the black color for everyone?
i love the black color…. i like wearing all black but i am NOT emo… or goth… does anyone else feel the same? how can i bring the color black back to the normal people?

yes I actually feel the same. I love black but am not emo at all. I would say i’m very girly. I like the color black because of it’s sophistication. As for your other question, let me know when you figure it out!

I think I’m normal (hope so anyway) and I love the color black. I’m not emo and I’m not goth.
… I don’t think they did- other people just over react.
And you can wear loads of black without being called either- you just have to do it really well.
You wear it in a grown-up, classy way and don’t behave goth or emo. Those ideas are more for teenagers.
For example, simple black jeans and a t-shirt or nice black button-down shirt don’t really call goth or emo to mind. Smiling and being friendly totally ruin any goth effect.

it would be nice if people DID wear a little, or alot more black. I guess its just the type of culture we reside in.
