Do you think black nail polish is always trying to be goth/emo, or can a person just prefer black?

   A person can prefer black. There are people out there who use black nail polish and are nowhere close to being goth/emo. Right now, black nail polish is pretty "in" and everybody seems to try it.

   it doesnt mean your goth ..im not goth and i ear back nail polishm sometimes it just works better with your outfit

   i wear black all the time! i think it looks mature and sophisticated as long as your nails are well taken care of (not too chiped, not chewed up, etc). i also like navy blue; its a super cute alternative to black. i use opi nail polish bc it lasts long and doesnt chip easily if you use a top clear coat. hope this helps (:

   Black and dark polishes have become a huge trend. It is not uncommon to see even the preppiest girls with black nails, unfortunately.
