Do you think African American women look bad with red hair?
I have seen that red and black hair looks really goth and usually sexy on caucasion women but when I see african american women with black and red hair it looks anything but goth. I will be dying my hair black with highlights in a couple weeks and I tend to dress punk most of the time. So my question is thus; considering I am african american, how do most people view african american women with black and red hair?.

I am a black woman and I had my hair fire red on the top and dark brown close to black on the bottom. I have to tell you it looked great I received a ton of compliments. The other person that made a compliment about silky hair put him on ignore! I say go for it, but you may not look goth, you may just look funky in a good way. I say go for it!

it wouldnt look good unless your hair is very controllable and silky almost otherwise it would look gross
No matter what ethnic background you are one should choose hair color that will compliment their skin tone. I don’t think most people have a specific view of any women due to the color of their hair.
depends on the color of red you choose, your skin tone, etc. I’ve seen women that look really nice and some that look really trashy.

Bad on everyone except Tyra Banks. She pulled off the brown skin red hair look… well she’s special. I’m not a fan of red hair on african americans, but black hair looks fine for people with that color skin so yeah get black but not red.
