   well, I'm not certain of what you're asking for, but here's something I wrote when I had some spare time (it's more like to the tragic side of life). It's not that good, but I hope u like it.

   He was standing all alone,
   alone in the emptiness of his home;
   waiting for that someone,
   that someone to come along.

   Wating in the darkness,
   listening to every sound.
   Misery surrounding him,
   trying to engulf his soul.

   Trying to stop the pain,
   misfortune and hopeless words;
   Feeling completely worthless,
   For the absence of his love.

   Unable to find her,
   unable to move,
   tears cloud his eyes
   until he sees no more.

   He's standing by the window,
   waiting for her return;
   ten years now passed
   since she walked out the door.

   what about it? there is no such thing as Gothic poetry. there are sad, happy, and mellow poems. there are thousands of different forms of poetry. your referring to the person who wrote the poem, not th poem itself!!!

   Edgar Allan Poe…he is great in Gothic Poetry…

   I am aware of only one (living) gothic poet…Denise Dumars. A fine poet out in CA, who has published widely. Check her out.
