I just found on the Bevmo website that they sell Absinthe with wormwood in it. I have always thought it was illegal to sell Absinthe in the US with wormwood. Someone help! Send links!
Has anyone every tried absinthe? If yes, what was your experience. I brought some back from the Carribbean and frankly it tastes like cough syrup. I loached it like I was supposed to and it did not turn milky.
My guess is that this is a version of the real thing. Where can I obtain the "real thing?" online.
What brands or types should I stay away from…which would you recommend?
Online of course cuz it’s illegal in the US, I heard the Mexican absinthe is not the same….
Ok Allforas I know its’ illegal you idiot and as far as Czechoslovakia, you know what i meant so if you can’t answer don’t waste your time
i wanna make absinthe but i dont know where to get the ingredients wormwood…….10 points for the most info…
I just ordered a bottle of TRUL 1792 absinthium. Has anyone ever tried this before? Is it the same as any other absinthe? 35mg of thujone…is this a good thing?
Just trying to get a little information before the product arrives.
Thanks in advance!
I just bought a bottle and want to make sure I serve it correctly
Must I use a sugar cube and water before I ingest it ?
Absinthe recently became legal in the US and I have purchased a very expensive bottle
When I looked on the bottom of a bottle of Absinthe, there is a small bit of glass missing in the bottom of the ring that contacts the table/floor/(Whatever you place the bottle on), what I want to know is why such a thing exists, since I can’t figure it out.
Are there any web sites that ship to the US? I am really curious to try the "Green Farie" and was hoping someone could help.
Ok so, now there are two of us that want to find some absinthe. . .anyone have any information?
Excuse my spelling mistake, Please!
I’m reading that they make it like they did back in the day. right down to the thujone (made you crazy) in it. If it’s oil based, I’m not sure that’s all bad, because I think I read that it was made in many ways back in the day. You had to have the holy trinity of ingredience. Does the U.S. stuff have that..so how much do these czech guys charge, because it isn’t cheap.
they say it’s legal to bring into the U.S. Wormwood is OK, it’s in lots of stuff. There is a designer copy of absinthe sold here with Wormwood as the principal ingredient. called Lucid. got the website from yahoo answers, thanks!
tried some french stuff last night. Gross!
I want to buy Absinthe in the US, is that possible?
