Does anyone have any PERSONAL experience with this? I recently ordered two bottles of absinthe, and I’m curious to what effects other people have experienced.

I don’t want any citings from Wikipedia, etc. please. Also no "I-knew-a-guy" types of stories. Please only answer if you yourself have had experience with absinthe!

Wana have a fun night every so often while I am there. Does absinthe give an extra kick? opposed to regular alcohol. How many glasses does it take to feel really good, but not puking all over the place. how much is a glass ( euros).

I saw online that there are wormwood oil tinctures that you can buy. Would that mean that you could put some in alcohol and be ready to drink right away, because I have read that you have to soak the plant material for some time before the absinthe is ready to drink? Since the oil is already extracted wouldn’t it work immediately?

P.S. Has anyone tried that energy beer called four? I guess it has wormwood in it.
We are forgetting that alcohol is also a poison that can kill you at high quantities. I know people who have gone to the hospital for alcohol poisoning.

You can get absinthe online, or at the liquor store. Its legal now in the US. But the better stuff you order online from Europe.

Absinthe is illegal in America, but not in the UK. Could I CHECK my bag with an absinthe in it to Houston with out any problems?

I was looking at www.green-fairy.com and noticed that it states that absinthe is illegal in Singapore. Is that true? Is it a capital offense to possess absinthe in Singapore?

I always wanted to try Absinthe, but there’s a problem since I live in the United States (where It’s illegal).
I found a website that ships from Germany to the United States. I’m afraid that when it goes through customs or something I might get caught.. Or, it could get to me with no problem at all.. I really really want to try it, but don’t want to go to jail…

Absinthe is a liquor which brings on hallucinations and I want to know where it is sold, if sold, in the US

wikipedia says no countries ever banned absinthe, but ive heard otherwise.. and ive never seen it in liquor stores.. if its not illegal, where can you get it?
