As you should know, jewish law does not allow to drink any grape made juice or alcohol that has not been handled only by torah laws keeping jews, so my question is if any of you know about any absinthe drink that surely "does not" contain any grapes juice or alcohol and/or any animal product as well. thanks a lot!!!!!!!!!!
The absinthe has alcohol which can be made of grapes.
If so, did you find that it had any of the reputed effects they claim it does, or was it just a normal warm, fuzzy feeling like any other alcohol?
If you haven’t tried it, I don’t need a chemistry lesson…I just asked for opinions, not a history!
I only hear it referenced to europe but I’m hearing it in some american contexts. Also let me explain that I come from a family of teetotalers which means we aren’t allowed to have any alcohol. I’m just curious.
I can’t find EXACT accounts of the effects. Some say hallucinate, some say you feel like you smoked pot then drank alcohol, some say it’s just regular alcohol, etc…. Does anyone know EXACTLY what it does?
I heard that if it is not made right, it is poison. Even more so than alcohol, ha ha.
I saw on Modern Marvels where this guy made it using an old recipe, but he used something other than wormwood I think and so yeah, that may keep it from being hallucinogenic. He was heavily regulated though. Can’t remember if it was in the U.S., but I wouldn’t be surprised if you could get it here, ya know like Cubans. Cigars that is.
Who has tried it, and how was the experience?
How does it taste?
Im just curious. I bought a bottle for someone for their birthday and I just wanted to know what the fuss was all about. I dont drink (i hate the feeling of being ‘tipsy’ or drunk… yuck)… but is it just like any other alcohol?
Has anyone has real absinth before? I’ve had the one from the LC but I don’t think it’s the same as before like in the revolution. It may be because the wormwood, the one I had I think it had wormwood but it just felt like drinking minty warn alcohol. Does anyone know where I could buy like the real thing?
I do not consume alcohol, but have wondered if this is true, false or just a bad pun based on "Absence make the heart grow fonder ?
Much love, Rose P.
It markets itself as some kind of alternative to real blood like alcohol for gothic vampires. Is it rum or what?
I just wanted to say that I’m not spamming. I really wanted to know if this was an alcohol because in one ad it said to drink responsibly.
Wana have a fun night every so often while I am there. Does absinthe give an extra kick? opposed to regular alcohol. How many glasses does it take to feel really good, but not puking all over the place. how much is a glass ( euros).
I’m staying for 21 days……and I am stopping off in amsterdam, after I have explored teh city I will enjoy the night life ![]()
