I always say I’m not, some of my friends are emo…gothic…punk… err, whatever they call themselves. Well anyway i’m not sure if i’m gothic or not… I’m draw to black hair, gothic clothing and vampires ect. but is this for real? I WANT to know if I am or not. And one other question. My parents and my gradma probably won’t accept it if I am and if I choose to be… (P.S DON’T TELL ME ITS MY CHOICE CUZ I KNOW!!!!!)
Guys, very good points, but I try to avoid acting gothic for some strange reason that I even forgot and no one thinks i’m gothic because I don’t try to be sometimes I feel like I want to but I just push it aside. It’s like this: say your on a diet which you don’t know when you can stop the diet and there is a delicious cake set in front of you. I am pushing the cake away but its tempting to pull it back and I tug is a small bit sometimes. Make sense?

I just got my hair dyed and it looks a little (a lot) darker than it was supposed to. It’s basically black now, and I want to avoid looking goth or "emo". There’s nothing wrong with these styles, but I don’t want to seem like I’m trying to fit into those cliques at my school. What can I wear/not wear to accomplish this?Will wearing black automatically make me look like that? Anyone else out there have black hair?

Girls with blonde hair or black hair tend to have a more "edgy" and "rock n roll" look about them.. but even with the right clothes.. i dont think i can because i have brown hair. I wasn’t planning to change my hair colour but how can i look more kinda… not really punk or goth… but like.. "rock n roll" maybe?
Any makeup i could use to make it work?

I basically am an awesome goth but I just don’t have black hair. I’m blonde. My mum wont let me dye my hair and I don’t really want to damage it.

I listen to Marylin Manson, Muse, Children of Bodon, Disturbed, Tenacious D and loooaaads of Screamo.

I wear nothing but black and purple and red. Other colours just don’t make me feel comfortable. I love the colour Black.

My eyes are completely gothed up. Kids are actually scared of me.:S

and I have a stretched ear.

I have seen that red and black hair looks really goth and usually sexy on caucasion women but when I see african american women with black and red hair it looks anything but goth. I will be dying my hair black with highlights in a couple weeks and I tend to dress punk most of the time. So my question is thus; considering I am african american, how do most people view african american women with black and red hair?.

im indian, dark brown w/ black hair and black just happens to look really good on me so i like wearing black nail polish. im not a goth or anything, and im slightly emo but not really, no one would label me as one. i like to wear lots of black eyeliner but i think it looks really nice on me. again, i wear black clothes sometimes b/c i look good in black and its slimming

black is a trend, or was a trend, but i’ve always liked to wear it. however, i’ve been feeling hesitant lately as im starting college now and im worried that i’ll be perceived wrong. my mom hates when i wear it, she says that she doesn’t want ppl to think that im "ruined" or "spoiled" b/c good girls don’t wear black nail polish. but i am a "good girl", im playful, i smile a lot, and i laugh a lot and im really studious. do you think i should scrap wearing the black nail polish? i can’t bring myself to stop wearing it but as soon as i step out of the house, my confidence in it just drops. help!

I spent most of the summer in the sun even though I don’t like it. I’m a goth. My hair was bleached into medium brown with the tips of it being blond when in the sun. My skin got tanned. I really want my old look of pale skin and black hair back. Thanks.

So, Danny’s a little bit of a rebel. He’s fifteen and he smokes. The only way he stays out of Juvie is because he gets protection from the foster care program he’s in. He a total sweety, though. My parents hate him and none of my friends like him. We’re a werid couple cuz he looks kinda goth (shaggy black hair, dark clothes, rods and rings ), and I don’t. Advice?
