I have pale skin, blue eyes, naturally dark blond hair. It is now black and I’m slowly going back up blond as I’m tired of looking Goth. But I don’t want the kind of blond like those girls at the clubs who go tanning.. I want funky, rocker style, edgy blond with pretty pale skin without having to go to platinum which would wash me out. What do you think? Any celebs that emulate this? Pls . help!

I am Caucasian, and white skin was never designed for harsh sunlight. I’ve always been conscious of this. I wear sunscreen when I go outdoors and I generally cover up. I study a lot, and I don’t go outside much because I’m not an ‘outdoorsy’ person. I’m quite pale. I also have very dark brown straight long hair with a fringe, and dark brown eyes, and glasses. I tend to wear black/purple/red coloured tops with fitted jeans. From what I’ver said, does it sound like I could pull off a more elegant look? Kinda like Dita Von Teese style? She has dark hair and pale skin and so do a lot of other famous people like Rose McGowan, Christina Ricci, Meg White etc. I would like to dress in a more interesting style, rather than jeans and plain coloured tops and I’d like some advice as to weather I could pull off a glam goth look? Not really goth … but glamour/elegant with hints of goth … if that makes sense. Does my skin colourings sound appropriate to this look? Thanks!

I spent most of the summer in the sun even though I don’t like it. I’m a goth. My hair was bleached into medium brown with the tips of it being blond when in the sun. My skin got tanned. I really want my old look of pale skin and black hair back. Thanks.

im 17, and i got suspended from school because i coloured my hair red, so i went to the shops that very day and my mum bought the black dye, which i was okay with, but then when i had the black dye in my hair, i looked very very goth because i have a very pale skin, people in my year level were calling me names like emo and goth! i dyed my hair two times with the colour brown but it doesn’t work..i what should i do PLZ HELP!!!!

I am naturaly pale and I want to die my hair black. But I don’t want to look goth. Or scene, or whatever they call it now. I don’t dress goth… at all. But I don’t dress like a ‘Holister Babe’ either. I just wear whatever the heck I want. I don’t have a set style, because I hate labels and I don’t need a label to define myself. But I really want to have black hair, pale skin, and not be goth. How do I do that?

I’m planning on being a vampire for Halloween and need some ideas. So far all i have planned is makeup (pale skin, bright red lipstick, and dark eye makeup)and a olive green army jacket (think Beatles "Sergent pepper’s lonely hearts club band" era). I’m also considering some black goth style pants. Obviously i’m going for a more modern vampire look, so more modern clothes, please. Oh, and I’m fourteen and would like to dress that way (modest). Ideas for accessories, a top for under the jacket, and shoes would all be appreciated.
also, clothes more like a modern version of how kate beckinsale dressed in Van Helsing or like the chicks from Blade.
oh and i already have a brown chocker with a skull and crossbones on it that i’m planning on wearing. I’m also looking at adding a couple of chains too.

I frequently get asked if I'm a goth or 'emo' as I have very pale skin and dark hair.. but I can't help it! & because I am not in the slightest bit gothic, it really winds me up! I want to know how to look LESS like a goth.. makeup? hair? I dunno.. any advice is helpful.
